Not Financial Advice
TradingCalcs provides educational tools and calculators for informational purposes only. Nothing on this website constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or trading advice. The calculators are designed to help you explore mathematical concepts and scenarios — they are not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security or financial instrument.
You should always consult a licensed financial advisor, tax professional, or other qualified expert before making any investment or trading decisions.
No Guarantee of Accuracy
All calculations are based on mathematical models that rely on simplifying assumptions. While we strive for accuracy, TradingCalcs does not guarantee that any calculation, output, or result is correct, complete, or current. Real-world trading outcomes may differ significantly from modeled results due to market conditions, execution factors, fees, slippage, and other variables.
TradingCalcs is not responsible for errors arising from the calculators themselves or from incorrect user inputs.
Risk Warning
Trading and investing involve substantial risk of loss and are not suitable for every individual. You could lose some or all of your invested capital. Options, futures, and forex trading carry additional risks, including leverage, margin calls, and rapid price movements that may result in losses exceeding your initial investment.
Past performance, whether actual or indicated by historical models, is not indicative of future results. Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
Not a Broker-Dealer or Investment Adviser
TradingCalcs is not a registered broker-dealer, investment adviser, financial institution, or insurance company. We do not hold client funds, execute trades, or manage portfolios. The site does not provide personalized investment recommendations.

TradingCalcs may contain affiliate links to third-party brokers and financial services providers. If you open an account or make a purchase through one of these links, TradingCalcs may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate relationships do not influence calculator results, methodology, or content. All calculators use the same mathematical formulas regardless of whether affiliate links are present on the page.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TradingCalcs and its owners, operators, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to financial losses, lost profits, or trading losses — arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, this website or any of its tools.
You use this site and its calculators entirely at your own risk.
Third-Party Links

Model Limitations
Several calculators on TradingCalcs use established financial models such as Black-Scholes, log-normal return distributions, and constant-volatility assumptions. These models are widely used in the financial industry but have known limitations:
- The Black-Scholes model assumes constant volatility, continuous trading, no dividends (in its basic form), and log-normally distributed returns.
- Real markets experience volatility skew, jumps, gaps, and fat-tailed distributions that deviate from these assumptions.
- Risk metrics such as Sharpe ratio and Sortino ratio rely on historical data and assumptions about return distributions that may not hold in the future.
- Greeks and implied volatility outputs are theoretical estimates, not guarantees of how an option will behave.
Always consider model limitations when interpreting calculator results and use multiple tools and data sources to inform your trading decisions.
